5 Rights and Responsibilities of the Area Authority
Any part of the overall jurisdiction of the UHS may be delegated by the Union to an Area Authority.
The Area Authority
5.1 Must administer the responsibilities delegated to it by the Union.
5.2 Has the right to obtain information concerning handicaps from Affiliated Clubs at any time.
5.3 When required, must appoint Committees to perform the duties referred to in Clause 24.
5.4 Must specify the appeal procedure to be made available to Members dissatisfied with the determination made by the Area Authority pursuant to Clause 24.
5.5 Must establish a Competition Scratch Score for each round of every Qualifying Competition they organise.
